Service Area History
The North Peninsula Recreation Service Area has a rich history of community involvement. Established over 50 years ago, we’ve evolved from a small neighborhood facility into a regional hub for community events, fitness classes, youth sports and more. Through continuous but mindful growth, we’ve stayed true to our roots of offering fun, year-round programs for all ages and abilities.
